PSY 381: Positive Psychology

This Course Guide is intended to serve as a complementary resource to the in-person library instruction class.

Locate Open Access materials via the direct link to The Journal of Positive Psychology (Taylor & Francis Online) using the following steps:

Search:

1. Enter your search terms in the search box:

1.a. Desktop - use the search box in the middle of the page (note that the "This Journal" option should be visible):

1.b. Mobile - tap the magnifying glass in the top right corner of the screen and search in the box (note that the "This Journal" option should be visible):

2. On the results page, check the box for "Only show Open Access":

2.a. Desktop - use the left side menu to check the "Only show Open Access" box:

Browse:

1. Open the browse menu and select "Open access articles":

1.a. Desktop - the menu is named "Browse all articles & issues":

2. The browse list presents the Open Access articles available in The Journal of Positive Psychology in reverse chronological order (from newest to oldest).

Locate Open Access materials within The Journal of Positive Psychology via APA PsycInfo (EBSCOhost) using the following steps:

1. Open APA PsycInfo (EBSCOhost) using the link above or on the full database list: A-Z Database List

2. Use the following search: JN "the journal of positive psychology"

3. Use the "Refine Search" menu to select the box for Open Access:
