Norfolk State University Galleries

NSU is home to two galleries, the James Wise Gallery and the African Art Gallery at NSU.

The African Art Gallery at NSU

"Collects and exhibits more than 700 works of art and artifacts from 13 African countries, including Ghana, Liberia, Mali, and Nigeria."

Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm.

The James Wise Gallery

"The James Wise Gallery provides a space for exploring and experiencing art for students, faculty, and the community. Through our exhibitions, we support meaningful interactions between artists, students, and the public."

Location: E. L. Hamm Fine Arts Building

Hours of Operation: Monday-Thursday 10:00am - 6:00pm and Friday 10:00am - 4:00pm  during the academic year
